NYE can be the most frustrating and over hyped night of the year. You spend it running around trying to see all of your friends and to find the best spot for the countdown only to spend it next t o dumpster off of mill avenue. Don’t worry, folks, that is not going to happen to you this year. NYE can also be the best night of the year because you spent it with awesome friends doing awesome things. You just need to know where to go.
Because you have kids and you actually like them: Noon Years Eve at the Phoenix Zoo (starts 9:00 am), Snow week at Heritage Park (starts at 10:00 am), and Ice skating at CityScape (starts at 11:00 am).
If you are into Forever 21 tight dresses, beads, a great firework display, and beer gardens, check out the Circle K Mill Ave Block Party (6:00 pm).
If you are into high heels, tight dresses, running into someone you used to know from high school/college/life, and hitting up four bars before midnight, then you probably already plan on going to Scottsdale and hitting up the Scottsdale Ultimate NYE Block party (6:00 pm).
You like Scottsdale but would like more dancing than just regular debauchery? Head to the W for One Night in Bangkok (8:00 pm), Maya for Luxe Life with Audi (8:00 pm), and Smashboxx for their NYE Celebration (9:00 pm).
Because you want a little show in your night: the Indulgence 2014 NYE Cabaret (10:00 pm).
You like downtown, are really into art, and have been called a hipster at least 3 times the past year: New Year’s Eve Flannel Ball and Art Show (7:00 pm).
You like downtown but the art scene isn’t that much of a big deal to you: Sean Watson’s New Years Eve at Crescent (8:00 pm) and 602’sDay No Years Eve (10:00 pm).
You like downtown but you are all about the view: Legendary NYE at Lustre (8:00 pm) and Clarendon’s Modern Gatsby Affair (8:00 pm)
