LOVE NOTES and OTHER FAVORITE VENUES

Inspired by Charles Byram

I remember the first time I met you. It was dark out. It was a quiet night but you didn’t let that stop you. You were new but you looked right at home. You offered something that most places seemed to forget about around town. A sense of individuality. A place where music was home. Crescent Ballroom, you were like nothing I have seen before. Your beautiful mix of brick and iron work give back the urban feel that gets lost in Arizona’s stucco kingdom. Your combination of delicious food, good drinks, great service, cozy corners, and inviting dance floors, is a combination I hope catches on with new venues around town.

I am so happy you are in my life. You are perfect for almost any occasion: getting acquainted with new bands, dancing my heart out to old favorites, cozy acoustic sets that perfect my date night, and conversations with strangers on the patio in between sets. You have essentially become my everything.

I beg of you, to not change. Please keep your charm. I hope you inspire small businesses around Phoenix as you have inspired me. Thank you, Crescent Ballroom.
